These mini mac ‘n cheese dogs are the perfect nostalgic family dinner or appetizer! Grill up Smart Dogs and top them with everyone’s childhood favorite – mac ‘n cheese.

Ingredients:

8 Lightlife® Smart Dogs

1 package dinner rolls, 8 ct ready to bake dough

1 5.5oz package boxed mac ‘n cheese

½ cup panko bread crumbs, toasted

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Separate roll dough into precut 8 pieces and separate in half, totaling to 16 pieces of dough. Shape dough into a small hot dog bun like rolls. Place on non-stick cookie sheet and cook until golden brown.

Cook mac ‘n cheese according to package directions. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Cook Smart Dogs according to package directions, preferably on the grill. Then cut in half.

Slice buns open and assemble dogs with Smart Dogs and mac ‘n cheese. Then sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs.
